My Approach
Challenges in life are inevitable whether it be a loss of a loved one, relationship breakup, unemployment, or feelings of loneliness. Every struggle is unique to the individual, requiring different methods of support.
As an integrative counsellor I draw on several different approaches. I work holistically, looking at the physical, psychological and spiritual aspect of a person (body, mind and soul).
During my counselling training I worked with adults, teenagers and young children. In my previous career and voluntary work, I had the privilege of working with babies, toddlers and pregnant mothers.
I have a broad understanding of the parent-child attachment and the impact this may have on behavioural patterns in adult life.
I believe that understanding yourself in a deeper way helps to build resilience and secure relationships. My aim is to provide a safe-space in which you can share and explore your story and find meaning to some of the difficult challenges you may be experiencing.
